QUALIFYING EVENT: Wright Brand Bacon Recipe Contest
I am a wife, mother of 2 and grandmother of 3 and I've been a grocery store cashier for 29 years. I have loved to cook and create recipes ever since I was a young child. My first contest that I participated in was the Pillsbury Bake Off in 1975. That recipe, "Ham and Cheese Crescent Snacks" won me the entry into the Pillsbury Hall Of Fame in 2000. In 2006 I won $10,000 as category winner in the Simple Snacks Category at the Pillsbury Bake Off for the recipe "Choco-Peanut Butter Cups". I have attended many cook offs since then including Manischewitz, Crisco, National Oyster and National Cornbread. I love to compete and I am excited be to coming to the World Food Championships!
