I'm Yim Martinez! I am originally from Thailand but I have been living in Hoholulu, Hawaii, for about 10 years. I recently graduated from Culinary and Pastry Programs at Kapiolani Community College in Spring 2016. I am passionate about cooking and baking as well as learning about different cultures through food. I am an inspiring chef/pastry chef. I am currently working at A Cake Life as a baker and cake decorator. I love to make sweets but I love to eat spicy!! I am proud to represent my college and team Hawaii in The World Food Championship 2017. I hope to win $100,000 and be able to give back to the culinary program at KCC and save some to open a small Thai cafe with delicious desserts here in Honolulu.
