I am a Florida girl who loves to cook. I love to watch cooking shows and various food competitions and one day decided to try a chili cook off to raise money for one of our state parks. I won first place and got the bug. I have been a pod member of the Florida chapter for the Chili Appreciation Society International (CASI) for 4 years and compete in about 6 cook off's a year. It is a great group of people raising money for various charities. I have been a nurse for 22 years and live on a 10 acre farm with my son and boyfriend who are the testers of my creative cooking. Cooking is my therapy and my passion, and chili is my favorite! My amazing friends and family are my support system and have encouraged me to cook and bless my life every day.
