I have been in the restaurant business since I was old enough to have a job. I have always enjoyed cooking. Most have been from home experimenting. Recipes from family members and new ideas, inspired me to open my own restaurant. My wife and I currently run CJ's grill in Mammoth lakes, ca since 2011. As a cancer survivor I came to a harsh realization of the foods we eat aren't always the best. My cancer was environmentally caused, this is the basis and background for my restaurant concept. Homemade food and family recipes. The mammoth burger battle is the first contest I have won and am excited about being in Las Vegas in November.
