QUALIFYING EVENT: Ottawa Smoked to the Bone Contest
I'm a police officer in my hometown of Ottawa Canada. I am a backyard barbecuer who has worked tirelessly trying to perfect my cooking abilities, focusing on my passion of barbecue. I have been rewarded this year with invitations to both the World Food Championships, as well as the Jack Daniels World Championships. We are a husband and wife barbecue team, which started off attempting to make the perfect rib. After countless hours of watching videos and researching online, I have developed an obsession to perfecting traditional barbecue. The competitive streak that my wife and I hold has lead us to competitive barbecue competitions four years ago, we've been hooked ever since.
