Men at Pork – Team Bio The family Gebhardt and friends comprise the traveling Que’ crew that are Men at Pork. What started as holiday gatherings around the grill turned into a full-fledge KCBS barbecue team in 2008. Men at Pork cook competitively for the fun and the fellowship while striving to perfect their craft and hear their names called out. Thus far it’s been mostly a learning process until their recent win in the Wright Bacon Domination at the Amelia Island KCBS Tailgate Cook-off. Head Pitmaster Lew Gebhardt rallies the crew that includes his wife Marcia, brother Pete, son Jason and any other family members and close friends that are able to make it to the party. After all that’s cooked and turned-in it’s all about the family – and the food is good too! Men at Pork cross state lines with team members out of both Georgia and Florida.
