COMPETITION: World Dessert Championship
David Eaheart, although classically trained in culinary arts, considers himself a hobby baker with a deep fondness for pie, bacon and barbecue. During the week, he serves as the senior director of communications and brand marketing at the largest American-owned pork production company, where he promotes pork products and advocates for modern production agriculture. His professional career has allowed him to work in the kitchens of renowned chefs throughout the country. When not competing, David dreams up delicious pork dishes, bakes pies with bacon, and serves as a certified food judge. He also reconnects with his family’s farm in central Missouri. Currently residing in Kansas City, Mo., David’s culinary journey includes impressive achievements: he was the 2019 American Pie Championships Professional Division Champion, a Top 10 Finalist in the 2019 World Food Championships (WFC) Dessert Category, and secured victory in the APC National Pie Championships Beef Pot Pie category in 2024.
