Good Buddies is a professional competition BBQ team from Lakeland, Florida. The team is made up of two pitmasters who have a passion for BBQ and competition. During the 2014 BBQ season, Good Buddies has competed in two KCBS and 11 Florida BBQ Association events and is currently ranked 12th in Florida BBQ at the professional level. Accolades for the 2014 season include:
Sam's Club National BBQ Tour Tampa, Florida event - Reserve Grand Champion
Winter Haven, Florida - Smoke on the Water - Reserve Grand Champion
Haines City, Florida - Ribs on the Ridge 4th overall, 2nd place Chicken, 3rd place Brisket
Kissimmee, Florida - Rib Rodeo 3rd overall, 4th place Chicken, 1st place Brisket
Dothan, Alabama - Tri-State BBQ Championship 5th overall, 1st place Chicken, 4th place Pork and 10th place Brisket.
Stuart, Florida 5th overall, 4th place Chicken, 8th place Pork, 1st place Brisket
Oviedo, Florida - Central Florida BBQ Blowout 13th overall, 7th place Ribs, 7th place Pork.
