I grew up on a farm, where everything was homemade; it with there, with my mom and sister that I learned many of my favorite recipes and share our passion of food and entertaining with food. I am retired, but in my free time I volunteer at the local soup kitchen where I cook in the kitchen. It is a bit like the show "Chopped" where I only have a limited time to make lunch, and I don't know what has been donated in advance to figure out what I will be making!
