COMPETITION: World Side-Dish Championship
KCQ is a competition barbecue team from Kansas City created by Gerry Richardson and Marty Bodine in 2006. The team competes in KCBS sanctioned barbecue mpetitions. In addition to barbecue meats, KCQ has found considerable success in ancillary ompetitions at KCBS events such as desserts, side dishes, wings, and more. Having won the potato category with perfect scores at the American Royal World Series of Barbecue two years in a row, KCQ is now poised to bring its unique concepts to the World Side-Dish Championship.
