QUALIFYING EVENT: Just a Pinch - Recipe
I am a home cook that enters cooking contests, and on occasion wins one. This year and last year the on line cooking club Just A Pinch has sent me to the WFC.. It is an honor to be able to attend win or lose, it is so exciting just to be able to compete. i have been cooking for almost 50 years for family, and take a lot of pride and love in what what I make. I grew up in a very italian part of upstate new york and did not consider italian food to be ethnic until I moved away. i thought there was something wrong with stores that did not stock what I thought were basic items. Even though I am not italian I consider it and pasta dishes to be my speciality. Last year I competed in the sandwich competition and this year it will be the recipe competition where i am making meatball lasagna.
