QUALIFYING EVENT: Philips Kulinarya Cook Off
Hi everyone. I'm from PHILIPPINES. I'm so honored and blessed to be part of WORLD FOOD CHAMPIONSHIP. Cannot imagine that i will come into this, to be one of the competitors in the world's biggest food competition. Last year, i was a sous chef of my sister who ranked 14th out of 50 competitors. She was the first Filipina who qualified in this contest. Now, we are three Filipinas competing in different categories. I was qualified because of winning the First Philips Kulinarya Cook off Challenge (no pot, no pans, and no stove cooking contest). We have to use the 6 appliances that Philips provided us (air fryer, food processor, blender, soya milk maker, rice cooker, and electric pressure cooker). We have to prepare appetizer, main dish, beverage, and dessert in one hour to be plated in two ( one for the judges and one for presentation). I know i still have to learn many things in cooking as i am just an ordinary home cook who wants to explore more in the line of cooking. I am not a chef but i love to cook for my family and friends. This will be a big challenge for me. Being PART OF WFC 2014, I AM A WINNER ALREADY.
