Malcolm Bedell is the owner of the popular midcoast Maine food truck “‘Wich, Please,” named “Hottest Restaurant in Maine” for 2015 by Eater.com, as well as chef at Mussel Ridge Market, located in scenic Spruce Head, Maine. A cook, author, and photographer, Malcolm is co-author of the book “Eating in Maine: At Home, On the Town, and On the Road,” published by Tilbury House in 2014 and nominated for a Maine Literary Award in the same year. Malcolm and his wife, Jillian, are also co-authors of the award-winning “From Away” food blog, a Down East Magazine Editor’s Choice for Best Food Blog in Maine. This is Malcolm's third time competing in the World Food Championships, in the "Sandwich" category.
