I began working in kitchens at the age of 16 and always had a passion for food that I believe comes from growing up watching my grandfather cook. I graduated culinary school in 2005 and began my career as an Executive Chef. I later moved to Georgia in 2014 to run my brother-in-laws food truck business when he was diagnosed with cancer. My family and I moved back home to Louisiana a year later and after 12 years as an Executive Chef, I decided it was time to begin a new career so I could focus on my family and spend more time with my wife and kids. Now that I am out of the industry, I participate in food competitions and help friends with catering events to continue to be involved in my passion for food.
