I've always enjoyed cooking from an early age and I played competitive sports into college. I spent 6 years in the Army and after I got out, I had a good friend introduce me to competitive cooking and have been hooked on competing ever since. I began experimenting with my own seasoning and rub blends on the competition circuit and my brand DB180 has exploded within the past year. I've traveled to every Region of the United States competing and interacting with all of my supporters and I thoroughly enjoy every moment!
