COMPETITION: World Invitational Steak Championship - SCA
2022 World Steak Champion! Peter Armendariz, a 6th generation Native Texan started grilling and smoking and cooking as soon as he could walk. Baptism by Fire, so to speak! Creating delicious meals for family and friends is a passion he continues today, which resulted in multiple qualifications for World Champion events. He was the first runner up at the 2021 World Food Championships in steak. He’s competed across the United States against the best of the best, and he is determined to win this competition! He thrives when presented with a challenge, always keeping an open mind and listening, watching and learning. When he’s not cooking (and eating), he works as an actor, and you’ll recognize him in multiple commercial and print campaigns of some of the most recognizable brands in the world. You might also have seen him in your favorite shows, performing alongside some of todays’ biggest A-listers.
