Nice to meat you all. My name is Brad and I am a Canadian competitor from Vancouver, BC. I have always been pationate about cooking and food in general. Food is so much more than just fuel, and cooking for me has been a constant learning opportunity about dishes as well as about myself and my capabilities. I have worked in 4 restaurants with about 6 years of culinary training, and am a registered judge through PNWBA. I have been competitively cooking BBQ and Chili under team Braai-Q since 2017 and have qualified for the Terlingua CASI Championships in 2019. This is the first year our team is attending the WFC and have the privilege of competing in both burger and sandwich categories. The team is solely comprised of South Africans expats (where the name Braai comes from) and we constantly push each other to be better. We can't wait to attend and show you what our team is capable of. Eat well.
