I always loved it when the women in my family made baked goods, the smells, the flavors and being able to be creative. When my son turned one I decided I wanted to try decorating a cake, it grew from there. Soon I was playing with recipes and trying different mediums out when it came to decorating. I started as a cottage baker in 2009, and in 2015 my husband and I discussed my opening a bakery before his retirement from the Army. We decided to add specialty coffee to the menu, because coffee and desserts always go well together. in 2018 we purchased a building, we rebranded our business and expanded our menu items to include breakfast, lunch & dinner, coffee, tease and other specialty drinks. Of course we kept the desserts and bakery items, that is my passion, I loved the smells, the flavors the joy of the process from simple ingredients to something divine. We opened Drachenfutter August of 2019, we have made it through covid and are still running strong. I absolutely love what I do and am so looking forward to participating in the WFC, gaining the knowledge, feedback, experience and meeting others who share the passion.
