World Food Championships Partners with Just A Pinch Recipes
The World Food Championships announced today the continuation of its partnership with Just A Pinch Recipe Club, online provider of the largest collection of authentic recipes from real home cooks. Through various online contests at justapinch.com beginning July 15, Just A Pinch will automatically qualify 24 of its online competitors into the World Food Championships, to be held in Las Vegas this November.
Just A Pinch Recipe Club, an online recipe network based out of Franklin, Tenn., partnered with the World Food Championships during its 2012 inaugural year, sending multiple cooks on to compete in Las Vegas for their chance at a portion of the event’s $300,000 prize purse. Notable cooks included World Side-Dish champion and World Food Championships finalist, Linda Bonwill, who made her way to the World Food Championships Final Table with her winning Cobb Potato Salad.
“Just A Pinch has done an incredible job at creating a community for home cooks to band together,” said Linda Bonwill. “I am so proud to represent Just A Pinch, and so fortunate to have had the opportunity to compete at the World Food Championships through them!”
Out of hundreds of competitors at the World Food Championships, Bonwill finished in fifth place overall and collected $12,500 in prize winnings.
This year, Just A Pinch will send 24 contest champions on to compete in six of the seven World Food Championship categories including: chili, pasta, burger, sandwich, bacon and dessert.
