WFC Announces 2018 Competitor Schedule

WFC released its 2018 competitors schedule today, illustrating how it will operate the world's largest Food Sport tournament in November at the Wharf in Orange Beach, Alabama.

The event, which runs from Nov 7 - 11, will feature ten official categories with opening rounds and Top Ten finals. Additionally, numerous ancillary challenges and special grilling events will occur throughout the "Food Week" that marks the highlight of the food competition season.

"This is our most ambitious and competitive event yet," commented WFC CEO Mike McCloud. "Thanks to Walmart, our presenting sponsor, and our many Food Sport partners, we will produce an epic event with nonstop action for a full week. More than $300,000 in cash will be rewarded to our teams, tens of thousands for charity, and countless prizes for foodies who attend."

To get registered for the event, a team has to earn a Golden Ticket through one of WFC's official qualifiers. Check here for a qualifier near you.
