Bama-Q TV Season Finale Will Feature World Food Championships

World Food Championships (WFC) announced that Bama-Q TV and Alabama Coasting will be attending this year’s Ultimate Food Fight to showcase cook teams as they compete for the largest prize purse in Food Sport. Bama-Q will be capturing all of the live-fire action that will take place at WFC’s Main Event in October at Reunion Tower Lawn in Dallas, Texas.

Bama-Q is an award-winning television show that airs in the fall on the Destination America channel. The show’s episodes feature professional and amateur barbecue teams from Alabama and the southeastern United States squaring off in barbecue competitions. The show will finish off its third season at WFC this fall, as it follows Team Alabama and other talented cooks’ journey into Dallas. This will be a chance for these barbecue cook teams to demonstrate their culinary chops both on and away from the smoker.

“We are thrilled to welcome Bama-Q back to our event,” said Mike McCloud, President and CEO of WFC. “They have always been great Food Sport partners and do a wonderful job of capturing the passion our competitors bring to the table.”

To date, Bama-Q’s WFC episodes are the most-watched among the show's archives. Food Sport fans can watch the first two seasons of Bama-Q TV on Country Road TV and Amazon Prime. Bama-Q’s season 3 debut is scheduled for the morning of Saturday, Oct. 5 on Destination America. To learn more about Bama-Q, follow them on Facebook and Instagram or visit  www.bama-q.tv.

WFC’s 8th Annual Main Event is scheduled for October 16 – 20, 2019, at Reunion Tower Lawn in Dallas, Texas. To keep up with all WFC news, follow the event on Twitter (@WorldFoodChamp), Facebook and Instagram (@WorldFoodChampionships). Click here to book your room for #WFC2019.
