New Grill Brand Fuels Competitive Fire at World Food Championships

Monument was introduced to the world of Food Sport last year when they sponsored a consumer giveaway at WFC’s 10th Anniversary event. Seeing the passion and enthusiasm of WFC’s professional and amateur competitors motivated the grill brand to play a bigger role in the world’s largest cooking competition. 

“We were blown away by the level of talent and intensity of these competitors,” said Oliver Cai, Marketing Director of Monument Grills. “Our motto is ‘Be Monumental with Monument Grills.’ We walked away knowing we wanted to be a part of the spirit of WFC and knew our grills would be a Monumental fit.”

As the Official Grill, Monument Grills will outfit WFC’s Grill Arena with 4 and 6-burner gas grills. Grill Arena provides outdoor grill access to more than 200 teams who will be competing inside WFC’s Kitchen Arena over the five days of the competition. 

“We are excited to bring Monument Grills onboard as the Official Grill of WFC 2023. Our teams will love their products and their brand ambassadors,” said Mike McCloud, President and CEO of WFC.

In addition to a built-in clear view glass lid, Monument Grills boast an electronic ignition system for easy burner starts, a built-in center-mounted thermometer to monitor the temperature inside the grill, and LED Control Knobs. Additionally, both the 4 and 6-burner grills have a side burner and ceramic side-sear burner for additional cook space.
