BACON, BABY! That’s right, this month’s #FoodChamp online recipe contest theme is none other than bacon, and we can already hear the sizzle of your frying pans! This contest is going to be HOT, just like the July weather!

Wright Brand Bacon and the World Food Championships want you to get your creative juices flowing. For this contest, all entries must include Wright Brand's "Naturally Hickory Smoked Bacon," but the rest is up to you!

Start gathering your greatest bacon recipe(s) and on July 17 the contest will open at 8 a.m. (CST) on the WFC Facebook page, running through July 27 at 11:59 p.m.

One Grand Champion will receive qualification to the Bacon World Championship, a waived registration fee PLUS a travel stipend. Four runner-ups will receive a Golden Ticket (qualification) to the Bacon World Championship.

The World Food Championships is the ultimate food sport event where hundreds of cooking competition winners and culinary award recipients from professional chefs to home cooks gather before thousands of fans to face off in a week long show down with one competitor leaving with the title of World Food Champion and a check for $100,000!
